LeasePlan has always been a strong supporter of kids’ charities and causes across the country and the Carn the Kids football program was a natural extension of our community relations activity.

There is no defining reason why we should need to run a program of this calibre. There are on the other hand, several reasons why we want to. Above all else, Carn the Kids is incredibly rewarding. For us, for our partners, for the organisations we work with and especially for the kids and their carers. After all it is they who we spend every moment aiming to please.

LeasePlan can’t do Carn the Kids alone. First of all we need kids. Lots of them. What kids? Kids that – for a whole host of reasons and circumstances – don’t necessarily have a chance to have a ‘normal’ day out at the footy like so many other Aussie kids. A kid is a kid whoever they are and every single one deserves football.

Every year we make a call out to the entire office for volunteers. Without fail each year we receive too many responses to fill the places we have. Carn the Kids has become an avalanche within our company. We no longer control it, it controls us and that’s the way we like it.
