GreenPlan and Greenfleet

 

LeasePlan is a proud Foundation Supporter of Greenfleet, having supported the organisation’s growth since its inception.

 

Greenfleet is a not-for-profit organisation, working towards a low-carbon future for Australia and the key partner in LeasePlan’s GreenPlan offering.

 

Greenfleet offsets greenhouse gas emissions by planting forests that soak up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Their forests are made up of a wide variety of Australian native trees that also help to reduce soil erosion, improve water quality and provide habitat for native animals.

 

Greenfleet was a finalist in the Biodiversity category of the 2010 UNAA World Environment Day awards, reinforcing their philosophy that action on climate change should not be taken in isolation from other environmental issues and can simultaneously deliver significant benefits for the Australian landscape.

 

LeasePlan’s partnership with Greenfleet includes the offsetting of all the CO2-e emissions produced by our own fleet of tool of trade cars.
